Confidence. How to get it.
Got low self-esteem? Could you do with a boost in your confidence? Feeling unsure about yourself either personally or at work? Sick and tired of feeling this way? Maybe you are sick and tired of always feeling sick and tired? Let’s take a look at how you should and can own your confidence like a boss.
First off, you will need to book in some time with your inner critic. Also, remember they will try putting it off, but you have just got to persist. You will need to get a handle on its behaviour, and ask yourself the person in control of how you feel, are these feelings warranted?
So as we know confidence is a pretty hard thing to gain and super easy thing to lose. I find that mine seems to play hide and seek when I am worried about what someone thinks, either about my work or me. You just got to be the most natural you, be yourself, you will radiate confidence, and you will be less on edge. No one likes living on the edge constantly.
Nothing shows a lack of confidence more than one’s body language. You need to maintain good posture, smile ( less of
resting bitch that moody face). Answer questions calm and collectively and be positive. We all love to be around a happy and chirpy attitude. Be that person that lights up the room, be that person who also instills confidence in those around them.
So lastly, focus on the small things. Those little successes create the big picture; you can take pleasure in all of those small wins to get you mentally where you want to be. They will boost your confidence and reinforce the things you are good at and where you should be focusing.
Let us know how you challenge or duel with your inner critic. We would love to hear from you!
